Janet Chester Bly to participate in 2013 Montana Festival of the Book
Montana Festival, October 10-12, 2013, hosted by Missoula, Montana’s 14th annual Humanities Montana Festival of the Book. This is one of the biggest cultural events in the Northwest.
This year includes a special edition of the popular storytelling event Tell Us Something and the fifth annual Festival Poetry Slam. There will be a special appearance by international poetry slam winner Buddy Wakefield. Also featured will be the annual Readers & Writers Reception, and the annual Saturday night Gala Reading.
Confirmed authors included Jamie Ford, Karen Joy Fowler, Robert Wrigley, J. Robert Lennon, Claire Vaye Watkins, and James Lee Burke. Also many more such as Christian fiction authors Tracie Peterson and her husband Jim Peterson, Sharon Dunn, Miralee Ferrell, Janalyn Voigt, Susan Hill and Valerie Comer.
Janet Chester Bly will present and sign novels Stuart Brannon’s Final Shot and Creede of Old Montana by her late husband, award winning western author Stephen Bly. Her book signing will be at the Garden of Read’n Bookstore, 2621 Brooks. She will also speak on the topic, “Finishing Dad’s Western Novel Was a Family Affair” on how she and her three sons completed Stephen’s last book. She also takes part in several panels.
