Released from prison and on the run from former partners who now accuse him of turning on them, Sam goes broke and escapes on foot in the wild country of western Indian Territory. Finally, he trails toward the Black Hills to find out why his father’s favorite gun was mailed to him. This story of God’s grace and family loyalty and forgiveness blazes with action and heartwarming humor.
